When over one million fugitives arrived in Germany between 2015 and 2016, not only did this trigger an impressive wave of civil society involvement, but numerous innovative approaches were also developed to coordinate this involvement and support fugitives on their arrival. Two years later we ask ourselves - what happened to the projects? And what potential do digital approaches have for the integration of fugitives?
